The founder of Fjora Projects oversaw and spearheaded the moving and restoration of a historic landmark in San Jose to facilitate the construction of a larger building by a developer, who funded the restoration. The home, which was in disrepair, underwent an extensive process that required securing a historic preservation permit and approval from the City of San Jose Historic Commission to relocate it 60 feet from its original site. Under her leadership, the restoration ensured that not only the home but also the outbuildings and landscaping were historically accurate. Today, the landmark is open to the public, showcasing the successful balance between development and preservation.
